One system, set up for your trade

Every business runs the same SeroPOS app and back office. What changes is the setup: a restaurant uses tables, kitchen tickets and the kitchen display; a quick-service counter uses the QSR grid and kiosk mode; a shop switches on Retail Mode, barcodes and lots; a repair shop adds job sheets; a hotel adds room booking.

Each industry page explains which features matter for that kind of business, which plan or add-on they need, and how to set them up, so you can go from download to first sale without guessing.

Food and drink, retail, services and stays

The pages are grouped into food and drink, such as cafés, pizzerias, bars, bakeries and food trucks; retail, such as grocery, liquor, pharmacy, clothing and convenience; services, such as repair shops; and hospitality, such as hotels. If your trade is not listed, start with the restaurant or retail overview and the features list.

Frequently asked questions

Is SeroPOS for restaurants or retail?

Both. Restaurants use tables, the floor plan, kitchen tickets, the kitchen display, modifiers and split bills. Shops switch on Retail Mode, which hides the restaurant screens and uses shop wording, and use barcodes, variations, purchases, lots and expiry. A business with a café and a shop can run both from one account and one back office.

Does SeroPOS work for a repair shop?

Yes, with the Repair add-on module. It adds job sheets with the device, model, serial number, passcode or pattern, a pre-repair checklist, the technician and expected delivery date, plus repair statuses that can notify the customer. Customers can check their repair's status online with their job-sheet number, and repair invoices are taken at the till.

Can a hotel use SeroPOS?

Yes, with the Hotel add-on module. It manages rooms and room types, nightly prices by weekday and by number of guests, bookings with extras and coupons, payments and an availability calendar, with booking PDFs and confirmation emails. The restaurant or bar side of the hotel runs on the same SeroPOS till and back office.
