POS for juice and smoothie bars

Smoothie customers are regulars with routines: the same green smoothie after the gym, plus a protein boost, three times a week. SeroPOS rings those orders in a couple of taps, prices every add-in, and gives regulars points that bring them back on the fourth day.

What you get

Juice smoothie bars in SeroPOS

Add-ins and boosts

Protein, collagen, chia and extra fruit are modifier options with their own price, printed on the ticket.

Sizes on the grid

Regular and Large become separate buttons in QSR Mode, so a size never needs a second screen.

Points for regulars

Reward points with your own earn, redeem and expiry rules, redeemed at the till.

Cost per cup

Recipes on the Pro plan price each smoothie from the fruit, yogurt and juice that go into it.

Fresh produce stock

Track fruit and juice stock with alert quantities, and record spoilage as stock adjustments.

Kiosk for the rush

Let gym-goers order and pay by card on a self-order kiosk while staff blend.

A grid for blended drinks

On a tablet or Windows PC, QSR Mode lays the menu out as a button grid. Each smoothie's sizes expand into their own buttons, so Tropical - Regular and Tropical - Large sit side by side. Colour buttons by category, such as greens, fruit and protein, and turn on double-height buttons for the five drinks that make up most of your sales. The layout syncs to every till.

Quantity First suits a group order: key 3, tap the smoothie. Search finds a drink by name if a new staff member cannot spot it, and the cart shows each line with its add-ins. Pay buttons sit right under the cart, so a regular paying by card is done before the blender stops.

Add-ins, boosts and swaps

Build modifier groups for Boosts (protein, collagen, greens powder), Add-ins (chia, flax, peanut butter) and Swaps (oat milk, almond milk, no yogurt). Each option has its own price or none. The options print on the kitchen ticket or receipt for the person at the blender, and appear as chips on the cart line that can be removed one at a time.

If most orders are made as listed, turn Modifier Popup off in QSR Settings so the sheet only opens when staff ask for it. The Daily Sales Report totals modifier sales, which is the quickest way to learn whether protein boosts earn enough to deserve a better spot on the menu board.

Regulars and reward points

Reward points are set in a few fields: what a dollar earns, a minimum order to earn, the most points one order can earn, a minimum to redeem and an expiry period. Search the regular by name or phone on the home screen, ring the order, and redeem points at payment or in Adjust Order on the quick-service cart. Each customer's earned and redeemed points show on their profile.

Customer profiles hold a phone number, email and birthday. With the CRM features on the Pro plan, the back office can list upcoming birthdays and send email or SMS campaigns to customers who have not visited in a set number of days, which works well for a smoothie bar near a gym or campus.

Produce, recipes and waste

Fruit, yogurt and juice are bought in cases and sold by the cup, which makes margins easy to lose track of. On the Pro plan, write a recipe for each smoothie with its ingredients and quantities, add a waste percentage, and SeroPOS calculates the cost per cup from your purchase prices. Update selling prices from cost when berries jump in price.

Record purchases with the supplier and cost, set alert quantities on ingredients and check the Product Stock Alert list on the back office dashboard before you call the produce supplier. Spoiled fruit is recorded as a stock adjustment with a reason, and the Stock Adjustment Report shows how much was written off over a week or month.

Frequently asked questions

How do I charge for smoothie add-ins?

Create modifier groups such as Boosts and Add-ins, give each option a price, and attach the groups to your smoothies. When a smoothie is added the modifier sheet opens, staff tap the add-ins, and each one adds its price to the line and prints on the ticket.

Does SeroPOS have a loyalty program for juice bars?

Yes, through reward points. You choose how many points a dollar earns, the minimum order, the minimum to redeem, the maximum per order and when points expire. Points are redeemed at payment, and each customer's balance is on their profile.

Can I see what each smoothie costs to make?

On the Pro plan, yes. Recipes list each ingredient and quantity, plus waste and extra costs, and SeroPOS calculates the cost per unit from ingredient purchase prices. You can update selling prices from recipe cost for one drink or many at once.

Can customers order smoothies at a kiosk?

Yes. Kiosk Mode, included in Standard and Pro, runs full screen on a tablet or touchscreen PC. Customers pick a size, required and optional add-ins, review the order and pay by debit or credit on the connected terminal. Cash orders go through the counter.

Which plan suits a single juice bar?

Standard at $30 a month covers the till, QSR layout, kiosk mode, receipts and standard reports for one location and three users. Pro at $50 adds recipes, CRM and advanced reports. Both start with a 14-day free trial and no card.
