SeroPOS is made by Sero Technologies in British Columbia, Canada, for restaurants and shops in Canada and the US. We build one point of sale that runs on the devices owners already have, with plain pricing and updates that keep arriving.
Where SeroPOS came from
SeroPOS came first. It started at the counter: a till for restaurants and retail that could take an order, send it to the kitchen, print the receipt and keep the stock count right on a busy night. Everything else we make grew out of the problems owners brought to us while using it.
SeroBooks grew out of SeroPOS, so that the till, the shelf and the ledger could be one system rather than three that need reconciling. Payroll was built inside SeroBooks and then released on its own as SeroPayroll, for Canadian businesses that want payroll without changing their accounting.
Built in Canada, for Canada and the US
We are based in British Columbia and we build for businesses on both sides of the border. That shows up in the details: tax groups that combine GST and PST, HST and QST setups, US state sales tax, Canadian and US editions of QuickBooks Desktop, and card terminals from processors that serve both countries.

What we believe about a point of sale
A POS should work on the hardware you choose. SeroPOS runs on iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows and Mac, and uses standard receipt printers, scanners and cash drawers, so you are never forced to buy a branded terminal or wait for a proprietary replacement part.
It should be honestly priced. There are two plans, each with a clear list of what is included, and no per-terminal fees or setup charges. It should keep working when the internet does not. And it should keep getting better: we ship updates to the app and the back office often, through the same app stores you installed from.

The company
Sero Technologies is the trade name of Inputly AI Inc., a British Columbia corporation. The company was founded and is led by Vikram (Vick) Khosla, its founder and CEO. Alongside SeroPOS, SeroBooks and SeroPayroll, we make Inputly.AI, which powers SeroBot, the AI phone assistant that takes orders for SeroPOS restaurants.

SeroPOS came first. SeroBooks grew out of it so a business could run its till, stock and accounting as one system. Payroll was built inside SeroBooks and then released on its own as SeroPayroll for Canadian employers. Each product has its own subscription, and you only pay for the ones you use.
Is SeroBot part of SeroPOS?
SeroBot is the AI phone assistant for SeroPOS restaurants, integrated with Inputly.AI, which is our own product. It answers calls, takes orders from your menu and sends them into the till's order queue, where staff accept them. You connect it from the Inputly Integration screen in the web back office.
