Run every location from one account
Each store, café or kiosk you run becomes a business location in one SeroPOS account. Every location keeps its own receipts, invoice numbers, prices, payment methods and closing time, while products, customers and reports live in one back office you can filter by location.
Multi location in SeroPOS
Location settings
Address, phone, email, timezone, invoice scheme, invoice layouts and day-end closing time for each location.

Turn payment methods on or off per location for the till and online, each with its own default account.
Daily sales email
Choose who receives each location's daily sales report by email.
Clone products
Set up a new location by cloning products from an existing one.
Reports by location
Filter the dashboard and reports by location, and see profit by location side by side.
Adding a location
Business Locations is under Settings in the back office. Add a location with its name, a location ID, its address, phone, alternate number, email and website, and its timezone. Use geolocate to set its latitude and longitude. Upload top and middle banner images if the location takes online orders. Each location can then be set up on its own.
To save time, use Clone products from to copy the product list from an existing location. Then adjust what this location sells. Products can be limited to the locations that carry them, so the kiosk does not show the full restaurant menu. Each location's till only shows the products that location sells, which keeps the screen tidy for staff.
What each location controls
Each location has its own invoice scheme, so its invoice numbers carry its prefix, and its own invoice layouts for POS sales, sales and direct back-office sales. Its day-end closing time decides where one trading day ends, which matters for a bar that closes at 2 a.m. Choose a default selling price group and featured products for its POS.
Payment methods are set per location, separately for the till and for online catalogue orders, each with a default payment account. One store can take cheques while another does not. Location settings also hold receipt printing: auto-print after a sale, the receipt printer and the layout. Set these once per location and every till there follows them.

Staff, stock and transfers
Each user can be given access to all locations or only some. A cashier at the second store sees that store's stock and sales; an area manager sees everything. Each till in the SeroPOS app works for one location. Location access keeps each team focused on its own store, and keeps other stores' figures private from staff who do not need them.
Stock is kept per location. When one store runs short, move stock from another with a stock transfer, which records what left one location and arrived at the other. Purchases are received into the location that ordered them. Each store's stock report then stays accurate, and you can see at a glance which location holds spare stock of a product before ordering more from a supplier.
Comparing locations
The back office dashboard and nearly every report filter by location. Run the daily sales report for one store, or the profit and loss report for all of them. Profit and loss has a profit-by-location tab, so you can see which store earns the most once costs are included. Use the location filter to compare one store with another.
Each location's daily sales report is emailed to the people you list on the location, at the end of its trading day. Owners who are not on site every day can see each store's numbers in their inbox each morning. Add or remove recipients on each location whenever the team changes, so the right people always get the numbers.
What it costs
Each plan includes one location: Standard at $30 a month and Pro at $50 a month. Extra locations are added at the plan price, so a second Standard location is another $30 a month. Both plans start with a 14-day free trial with no card needed. You pay only for the locations you run.
If you sync to QuickBooks Desktop, each location can map to a QuickBooks class, so your accountant can run profit and loss by class and see each store's results there too. Without QuickBooks, every report in SeroPOS still filters by location, so each store's results are always a click away for you and for whoever manages that location.
Frequently asked questions
How much does an extra location cost?
Each extra location is charged at your plan price: $30 a month on Standard or $50 a month on Pro. Each plan includes one location to start, and both have a 14-day free trial with no card needed. Add locations as you grow.
Can each location have different prices?
Yes. Set a default selling price group on the location, and its sales use that group's prices. Products can also be limited to the locations that sell them, and discount rules can apply to particular locations. Set it on each location once.
Can I see sales for all my stores together?
Yes. Reports in the back office cover all locations or the one you pick. The profit and loss report has a tab for profit by location, so you can compare stores side by side. Pick any date range for the comparison.
Can staff work at more than one location?
Yes. Give the user access to all locations or a selected list. On the till, each device works for one location, so staff sign in on that location's device. Managers who cover several stores can be given access to all of them and sign in at any location.
How do I move stock between stores?
Use a stock transfer in the back office. Choose the from and to locations, add the products and quantities, and update the status as it moves. Stock comes off one location and is added to the other. The transfer record shows what moved, when and between which stores.
