Online ordering that lands in your POS
SeroPOS gives each location its own mobile ordering page built from your product catalogue. Customers build their order, pay by card online or on collection, and the order rings on your till.

An ordering page that matches your menu
Each business location gets its own ordering page. It shows a hero banner, a search box and category chips that follow as the customer scrolls. Only products sold at that location appear, and location discounts show as a percentage badge. Tapping an item opens a panel with its variations, modifiers and quantity, and items go into a slide-out cart.
Because the page reads your SeroPOS catalogue, you manage one menu. Change a price or mark a product inactive in the back office and the ordering page follows. The same is true for photos and descriptions, so the ordering page always matches what staff see on the till and what the kitchen can make.
Checkout that suits your service
At checkout the customer chooses a type of service, such as dine-in or takeaway, from the types you set up in the back office. Dine-in guests can pick their table, which marks it occupied. They enter their details, choose a payment method and add order notes, then see an Order placed confirmation.
Customers can register with their email and name, sign in later by email or mobile number, and keep their address on file. Guests can order without an account at all, and a guest cart kept in the browser moves to their account if they decide to sign in. Forgotten passwords are reset with a text message code.
- Type of service: dine-in, takeaway and your own types
- Optional table picker for dine-in
- Account sign-in or guest checkout
- Order notes for the kitchen
Getting paid
For card payment online, add your own Stripe keys in Business Settings › Stripe Setting and turn on the payment methods you want per location under Business Locations. Customers then pay by card through Stripe Checkout before the order is sent. Cash, card on collection and other methods record the order without taking payment, so staff collect at the counter.
You choose, per location, which methods the ordering page offers. A busy lunch spot might require card payment online so orders are paid before the kitchen starts, while a neighbourhood cafe may prefer to take payment at pickup. Each order shows its payment status on the till, so staff know whether anything is still owed.
Orders in the POS, not a separate tablet
Online orders do not print on a separate device. They arrive in SeroPOS, where a cloud icon in the app bar shows a count badge and a bell rings. Staff open the Web Order Received popup, review the order, move it to the cart and print it, then update its status as it is prepared. The kitchen gets its ticket through your normal setup.
Online ordering is part of the Online ordering and QR add-on module, which works with either the Standard or Pro plan. The module also includes the branded QR menu and the order queue on the till, so dine-in guests and takeaway customers use the same ordering page and staff handle both from the same list.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate website for online ordering?
No. SeroPOS hosts an ordering page for each location, built from your product catalogue. Link to it from your website or social pages, or print its QR code. Your menu, prices and photos come from the back office. There is nothing extra to build or host yourself.
Can customers pay online?
Yes, by card through Stripe, using your own Stripe account keys in Business Settings. You choose which payment methods each location offers at checkout. Cash and pay-on-collection options record the order for staff to take payment at the counter. Each order shows its payment status, so staff know whether to collect.
Do customers need to create an account?
No. Customers can check out as a guest. They can also register with an email and name, then sign in by email or mobile number to keep their details and address for next time. A guest cart moves to their account if they sign in.
Does online ordering handle delivery fees?
Delivery can be offered as a type of service, but the ordering page does not add a delivery fee or plan routes. It suits pickup, dine-in and simple local delivery that you price and arrange yourself. Set up Delivery as a type of service to use it.
How do online orders reach the kitchen?
Orders arrive in the SeroPOS till with a bell and a count badge on the cloud icon. Staff review the order, move it to the cart and print it, so it reaches the kitchen through your normal tickets or kitchen display.
