Uber Eats orders straight into the POS
SeroPOS connects directly to Uber Eats, with the integration rolling out in Canada. Delivery orders ring on the till you already use, and the menu, item availability and store hours are managed from SeroPOS.

Push categories, items, options and modifiers to Uber Eats from the back office.
Store hours per location
Set weekly opening hours, closed days and after-midnight hours for each location.
One till instead of another tablet
Many restaurants keep a delivery tablet on the counter and retype every order into the POS. That costs time and invites mistakes. The direct Uber Eats integration in SeroPOS brings the order onto the till itself. A bell icon in the app bar shows a count, a ring plays, and a Food Delivery Order popup shows the order details, notes and order type.
The integration is rolling out in Canada and is part of the Food delivery platforms add-on module. Because the orders sit on the same till as everything else, they go through the same kitchen printers or kitchen display, and staff do not need to watch a separate device or copy anything across by hand.
Handling an order
From the popup, View moves the order into the cart so it is held, printed and cooked like a dine-in order, with your normal kitchen routing. If an item has run out, Mark Out of Stock opens a list where you mark the items as unavailable. If you cannot take the order at all, Cancel Order asks for a reason such as Store Closed, Store Busy, Rider not available or Out of radius.
The Food Delivery Platforms list on the till shows every order with its online order ID, rider status and name, delivery type, whether it was acknowledged, and a Print button. Staff can see at a glance which orders have been picked up, which are waiting and which still need attention.
- View: move the order into the cart
- Mark Out of Stock: stop selling an item
- Cancel Order: decline with a reason
- Print: reprint from the order list
Menu and store settings in the back office
In the back office, Food Delivery Apps links each location to its Uber Eats store. Add Catalogue sends your categories, items, options and modifiers, and Update Catalogue switches products and modifiers on or off per location. Import Menu can pull an existing Uber Eats menu, preview what would be created or matched, then commit it.
Opening Hours sets weekly hours per location, with a closed-day tick and after-midnight hours handled for late kitchens. Category Timing limits a category, such as breakfast, to set hours. Hours reach the platform with the next menu push, so update them before a holiday or a change in your schedule.
Test before you go live
The Test Order screen builds a sample order in the platform's own format and runs it through the same path as a real one, into the till. It is a safe way to check that printers, routing and staff know what to do before the first real delivery order arrives.
Catalogue Report and Store Report keep a log of updates for each location, which helps when you want to confirm a menu change went through. Delivery orders are hidden on tills set to Retail Mode, so keep Retail Mode off on the counter that handles delivery. Other tills in the business are unaffected by that choice.
Frequently asked questions
Which delivery platforms does SeroPOS connect to?
SeroPOS has a direct Uber Eats integration, which is rolling out in Canada. Orders, menus, item availability and store hours are managed from SeroPOS. It is part of the Food delivery platforms add-on module. Speak to us about your location's rollout timing.
Do I still need the Uber Eats tablet?
The integration brings Uber Eats orders into the SeroPOS till, with a popup, a ring and a count badge, so staff accept and prepare them where they work. Talk to us about your location's rollout timing before you retire any device.
How do I stop selling an item on Uber Eats when it runs out?
From the order popup on the till, use Mark Out of Stock and pick the items. In the back office, Update Catalogue also turns products and modifiers on or off per location. Turn them back on when the item is restocked.
Can I change my delivery menu from SeroPOS?
Yes. Add Catalogue in the back office pushes your categories, items, options and modifiers to Uber Eats. Import Menu can also read an existing Uber Eats menu, preview the matches and create the products in SeroPOS. Your SeroPOS catalogue stays the main menu.
Can I set different hours for delivery?
Yes. Opening Hours sets weekly hours for each location, including closed days and hours that run past midnight. Category Timing can limit a category, such as breakfast, to certain times. Hours reach Uber Eats with the next menu push. Plan ahead for holidays.
