AI phone ordering with SeroBot
SeroBot is a voice AI that picks up your restaurant's phone and takes the order from your menu. It is integrated with Inputly.AI, and the order arrives in SeroPOS for your staff to accept and make.
AI phone ordering in SeroPOS
Answers the phone
SeroBot takes calls so staff are not pulled off the counter or the line during a rush.
Orders from your menu
Menu sync sends your SeroPOS menu to Inputly.AI, so callers can only order what you sell.
Orders land in the POS
Phone orders arrive in the SeroPOS order queue alongside your web and QR orders.
Staff accept every order
Nothing goes to the kitchen until a person on the till reviews and accepts it.
Your own API key
Generate, regenerate or revoke the key that links your business, from the back office.
Location IDs included
The setup screen shows your SeroPOS URL and the Location IDs to paste into Inputly.AI.
Stop losing orders to a ringing phone
At peak times the phone rings while the counter is full and the kitchen is behind. Either a customer waits on hold, or someone stops serving to take the call. SeroBot answers instead. It is a voice AI phone assistant integrated with Inputly.AI, an in-house Sero product, and it takes the caller's order from your current menu.
Your staff keep working the room, and the phone order turns up in SeroPOS ready to check, instead of on a scrap of paper by the phone. Callers get an answer at the busiest times of day, and you stop losing orders to customers who hang up after a few rings and try somewhere else.
Connect SeroPOS and Inputly.AI
The link is set up in the web back office under Settings › Inputly Integration, which is open to admins. Press Generate to create an API key for your business. The screen shows the key, your SeroPOS URL and your Location IDs, which you paste into Inputly.AI. If a key is ever shared by mistake, Regenerate replaces it and Revoke cuts the link straight away.
Then run a menu sync. Your SeroPOS menu is sent to Inputly.AI, so SeroBot offers the items, options and prices you actually sell. Run the sync again whenever the menu changes, and SeroBot stays in step with the till and the QR menu without anyone retyping the menu. It takes seconds.

Every phone order is checked by your team
Orders taken by SeroBot are sent to SeroPOS and wait in the order queue on the till, with the same Bot / Web Orders list that holds online and QR orders. A person on your team reviews each one and accepts it before it goes to the kitchen. That gives you a chance to catch an unusual request, confirm a pickup time or call the customer back.
Once accepted, the order moves into the cart and follows your normal flow: kitchen tickets, the kitchen display, payment and receipt. There is no separate screen to watch and no extra device on the counter. Phone orders sit in the same list as your other orders, so staff use one routine for all of them.
Keep the menu in step
Because SeroBot works from a synced copy of your menu, run the menu sync again after you add dishes, change prices or retire an item. Your SeroPOS catalogue remains the one place you manage the menu, and the till, QR menu and phone ordering all follow it. One menu runs everything.
Phone ordering suits restaurants, pizzerias and takeout counters that get a steady flow of calls, especially at lunch and dinner peaks when nobody can step away to answer. It also helps smaller teams where the person at the counter is also the person on the phone. Nobody misses a call.
Frequently asked questions
What is SeroBot?
SeroBot is a voice AI phone assistant for restaurants. It answers calls and takes orders from your menu. It is integrated with Inputly.AI, an in-house Sero product, and sends the orders it takes into SeroPOS for your staff to accept and prepare.
How do I connect SeroBot to SeroPOS?
An admin opens Settings › Inputly Integration in the web back office and generates an API key. Copy the key, the SeroPOS URL and your Location IDs into Inputly.AI, then run a menu sync so SeroBot knows your menu. You can regenerate the key at any time.
Do phone orders go straight to the kitchen?
No. Phone orders arrive in the SeroPOS order queue, and a member of staff accepts each one first. Once accepted, the order moves into the cart and prints or displays for the kitchen like any other order. That gives staff a chance to check every order.
What happens when I change my menu?
Run the menu sync again from Settings › Inputly Integration. SeroBot works from the synced copy of your SeroPOS menu, so syncing after price changes, new dishes or removed items keeps phone orders accurate. Make it part of your routine after any menu update.
Can I turn off the connection?
Yes. On the Inputly Integration screen, Revoke disables the API key immediately, and Regenerate issues a new one if you want to reconnect. Only admins can open this screen. Revoking stops new phone orders from reaching SeroPOS until you reconnect.
