Multi-location POS
The second store is where spreadsheets stop working: two stock counts, two price lists and staff who should only see their own till. SeroPOS runs every location from one back office, with stock, prices, receipts and access set per store and reports that compare them.

Every store in one back office
Business Locations lists your stores, each with its name, address, contact details and time zone. A location has its own invoice scheme and layouts for the till and for invoices, its own receipt printer settings, the payment methods it accepts and the default account each one posts to, and featured products for its till. The day-end time and the people who receive its daily sales email are set per location too.
Products can be sold at all locations or only some, and Bulk change of locations moves many products at once. When you open a new store, Clone products from copies the catalogue of an existing location, so the new till is ready to sell on day one. Each device signs in to one location.

Stock you can see and move
Stock is kept per location. The Stock Report filters by location, category, brand and unit with stock value at cost and selling price, and product stock details show quantities in each store. The dashboard's stock and expiry alerts can be filtered by location, so each manager sees their own list.
Stock transfers move products from one location to another with a date, reference, status, quantities, shipping charges and notes. Once a transfer is Completed it can't be edited, so both stores' counts stay consistent. Purchases are received into a specific location, and racks, rows and positions can be set per location for each product.
Prices, discounts and staff by store
Selling price groups can be set as a location's default, so an airport store can charge more than the high street store from the same catalogue. Discount rules can be limited to certain locations, which suits a promotion at one site. Users get access to all locations or a chosen list, and each user's role decides what they can do there.
Each location has its own register sessions, so cash is counted and reported by store and by user. The Register Report and the Sales Representative Report filter by location, and the Activity Log records changes in the back office by user and date. A manager at one store can't see the cash sessions or sales of a store they have no access to.
Comparing locations
Almost every report filters by location: daily sales, profit and loss, tax, stock, trending products, product sales, payments and expenses. Profit / Loss has a tab that breaks profit down by location, so you can see which store earns its rent. The dashboard can show one location or all of them for any date range.
On pricing, each extra location is charged at its plan price, so a second Standard store is another $30 a month and a second Pro store is another $50. If you need more staff logins than the plan includes, packs of three more users are $10 a month. Every location's data stays in the same back office from the start.
Frequently asked questions
What is a multi-location POS?
It is a POS that runs several stores from one account, with stock, prices and staff access set per location and reports that compare them. In SeroPOS, each location has its own stock, receipts and payment methods, and stock transfers move goods between them.
Can I see inventory across all my stores?
Yes. The back office Stock Report shows stock by location or across all of them, with value at cost and selling price. Product stock details list the quantity at each store, and stock alerts can be filtered by location, so each manager sees what their own store needs.
Can different stores have different prices?
Yes. Set a default selling price group on each location, and that store's till uses those prices. Discount rules can also be limited to particular locations. Products can be made available at some locations and not others, which keeps a store-only line off the other tills.
Can staff be limited to one store?
Yes. Each user has location access set to all locations or a chosen list. Their role decides what they can do, such as refunds or discounts, and they only see stock, sales and reports for the locations they can access.
How much does each extra location cost?
An extra location is billed at the price of its plan: $30 a month on Standard or $50 a month on Pro. Users are added in packs of three for $10 a month. Both plans start with a 14-day free trial.
