POS for burger restaurants
A burger order is a patty count, a list of toppings, a side and a drink, and most guests want it as a combo. SeroPOS rings the combo in one tap, sends the build to the grill with every no-pickles intact, and tells the grill cook how many patties are still to drop.

Combos without the menu maths
Most burger sales are meals. Create a combo product in the back office that includes the burger, the fries and the drink, give it a meal price, and it becomes a single button on the quick-service grid. Put combos in their own category with a strong colour so cashiers reach for the meal first, and keep à la carte burgers, sides and drinks in their own categories.
Sizes are variations. A Classic in Single, Double and Triple, or fries in Small, Medium and Large, each expand into their own button in QSR Mode, so the cashier taps Double once rather than opening a size picker. Long-press a button to make it double height, change its colour or turn on Ask quantity for items such as sliders.
Every build, exactly as ordered
Toppings are modifier groups: Cheese (cheddar, Swiss, pepper jack), Extras (bacon, extra patty, fried egg), Sauces and Hold (no pickles, no onion, no bun). Paid extras carry their price, free removals sit at zero. In QSR Mode, turn Modifier Popup on if most burgers are customized, or leave it off and add modifiers only on request.
Each choice prints under the burger on the kitchen ticket or shows on the kitchen display, with notes for doneness or allergies. Once the kitchen has started an item it is locked on the order, so a cashier cannot quietly change a burger that is already on the grill. The Daily Sales Report lists modifier sales, which shows how many guests pay for bacon.
A kitchen display for the grill
Put a tablet above the grill and switch it to KDS Mode. Tickets arrive with a double chime and stay highlighted for ten seconds. Each ticket shows its age; counters across the top show how many are on time, need attention after eight minutes or are late after fifteen. Cooks tick off items as they finish and tap SERVE to bump the order.
The All Day panel is the one grill cooks use most. It totals every item still to cook across all open tickets, so the grill sees eleven patties and four chicken burgers in one place and can drop them together. Station chips filter the screen so the fry station sees only fries and onion rings. Recall shows anything bumped in the last two hours.
Counter, drive-thru and kiosk
Each till can be given a name such as Front Till or Drive-Thru in Card Terminal for This Till, and bound to its own Global Payments, Moneris or Gravity terminal, so a drive-thru card never lands on the front counter's machine. On the Pro plan, Server and Client Mode lets several tills share held orders and the kitchen display over your local network.
A self-order kiosk, included in Standard and Pro, lets guests build their burger and pay by debit or credit while the counter handles cash and drive-thru. The QSR cart's Delivery toggle adds a delivery charge and tip for orders you deliver yourself, and a direct Uber Eats integration is rolling out in Canada as an add-on.
Frequently asked questions
How do I set up burger combo meals?
Create a combo product in the back office that includes the burger, a side and a drink, then give it one selling price. It appears as a single button on the till. Many restaurants put combos in their own coloured category at the top of the grid.
Can the kitchen see how many patties to cook?
Yes. In KDS Mode, the All Day panel adds up every item still to cook across open tickets, so the grill sees the total of each burger at a glance. Tickets also show timers and can be filtered by station.
Can I run a drive-thru till with its own card machine?
Yes. In Admin, Card Terminal for This Till, name the till Drive-Thru and enter its own terminal details. That till then charges only its own terminal. Each till keeps this setting on the device, so the front counter stays on its own machine.
Do modifiers like no onion print on the kitchen ticket?
Yes. Every modifier, free or paid, prints under the item on the kitchen ticket and appears on the kitchen display. Staff can also add a note to a line for doneness or allergies, and it prints with the item so the grill reads it before cooking.
What does a burger restaurant need to get started?
A tablet or Windows PC for the till, a receipt printer, a kitchen printer or a second tablet for KDS Mode, and a supported card terminal. Standard at $30 a month covers the QSR layout, kitchen tickets and kiosk mode, with a 14-day free trial.
