Combos and bundles sold as one item
A combo in SeroPOS is one product made of several others, sold at one price. Ring up the meal deal or gift basket as a single item, and each component comes out of stock on its own.

Meal deals without the stock mess
A burger, fries and drink deal is easy to sell but awkward to track. If it is set up as a separate item with its own stock, the burger patties and cups never come down. SeroPOS handles it as a combo product: one item at one price, built from products you already stock. When it sells, each part is deducted from inventory as if it had been sold on its own.
Shops use the same idea for gift baskets, starter kits and multi-packs made from single items. A bundle priced as a set is easier to sell than three separate items, and your stock of each single item stays right because the bundle is never counted as a product of its own.
Creating a combo
In the back office, open Products › Add Product and set the product type to Combo. Give it a name, category and tax as usual, then add the products that make it up and the quantity of each. Components can be particular variations, such as a large drink. Set the combo's selling price, which can be lower than the parts added together to make the deal worth taking.
Save it and the combo syncs to the tills like any other product, with its own button in its category. If a component changes, such as a new drink size, edit the combo and the next sale uses the new parts without any change to how staff ring it up.

At the till and online
Staff tap the combo once and it goes into the cart as one line at the combo price. Customers see a single, clear item on the receipt. On your QR menu and online ordering page, combos appear with their own product detail page, so they can be sold online as well as at the counter.
Because the combo is a normal product in the catalogue, it can carry its own tax, its own category and its own photo, just like anything else on the menu. Give it a clear name, such as Burger Meal, so staff and customers can tell it apart from the single items at a glance.
Keeping track of combos
The Products list filters by type: Single, Variable or Combo. That makes it easy to review every bundle when costs change and you need to check that the deal still makes money. Stock reports show the components, which is where the stock really is. Review combos at least each season.
Combo products are created in the web back office. The app's product form covers single products and products with variations. Most owners build combos once in the back office and sell them from the till every day after that. Edits to an existing combo are made in the same place and reach every till on the next sync.
Frequently asked questions
How does stock work for combo products?
A combo does not carry its own stock count. When it sells, SeroPOS deducts each component product by the quantity set in the combo, so your stock of burgers, fries and cups stays accurate. Low stock alerts on the components still apply.
Can a combo include a specific size?
Yes. A combo's components can be specific variations of a product, such as a medium fries or a large drink, so the right item comes out of stock. Pick each variation when you build the combo. Each size can be its own combo.
Can I price a combo lower than its parts?
Yes. The combo has its own selling price, which you set. Most businesses price a meal deal below the total of the separate items to encourage customers to choose it. Check the margin when your costs change. It is set per combo.
Can I create combos in the POS app?
Combos are created in the web back office under Products › Add Product by choosing the Combo type. Once saved, they sync to the app and sell from their own button. Edits are made in the back office too. Staff only need to tap it.
Do combos show on online ordering?
Yes. Combo products appear on your QR menu and online ordering page with a product detail view, and orders for them reach the till like any other online order. Customers see the combo as one item. Its parts still leave stock.
