Steps

  1. Open the list. Tap the cloud icon in the app bar. Its badge shows how many orders are waiting.
  2. Scan the orders. Each card shows Platform, SeroPOS Order ID, Time, Total Amount and Shipping Status. An empty list reads No Order Yet.
  3. Check the details. Open an order to see the Customer Name, Customer Mobile, the LIST OF PRODUCTS and any Additional Notes.
  4. Move it to the cart. Tap View Order. The app confirms Order is moved to cart and the items load into the cart.
  5. Finish the order. Hold it to send a ticket to the kitchen, then take payment, or complete it as already paid, as you would any order.
  6. Print it. Tap Print Invoice to print the order on the default printer, for example to bag with a pickup.

Bot orders

SeroBot answers your phone and takes orders by voice. It is integrated with Inputly.AI, and its orders come into the POS for staff to accept, just like web orders. Connect it in the web back office under Settings, where you create the API key and sync your menu.

Limits

The list is filled on Standalone and Server tills with internet; Client tills don't check for online orders. Web and QR orders need the Online ordering & QR add-on module. Printing needs a default printer, otherwise the app shows No Default Printer.

Frequently asked questions

What is a bot order?

A phone order taken by SeroBot, the voice AI phone assistant integrated with Inputly.AI. It reaches the till like a web order, and staff move it to the cart and fulfil it.

Why is the list empty when I know an order was placed?

Make sure you are on a Standalone or Server till that is online. Client tills don't poll for orders. If the till was offline, wait for the next check, which runs about every 25 to 35 seconds.
