Steps
- Open Catalogue QR. Open the drawer, tap Admin, and in Tools tap Catalogue QR (Let customers scan to browse and order online). If the tile shows a lock, the add-on isn't on your account yet.
- Pick the location. If you have more than one location, choose the one this code should open. With a single location it is picked for you.
- Check the code. The card shows your business name, the QR code with Scan to view our menu & order, and Powered by SeroPOS.
- Share the link. Tap Copy to copy the catalogue link, Share link to send it by message, email or social media, or Open to preview the page yourself.
- Save the QR image. Tap Save / Share QR to export the code with your business name as an image you can print or add to a flyer.
- Place it. Print the code and put it on tables, the counter or your window, where customers can scan it.
- Keep the menu current. The catalogue shows the products, prices and photos from Admin › Products, so update them there. The link itself never changes.
Good to know
The link is fixed for each location, so a printed code keeps working after menu and price changes. Orders placed from it arrive on the till under the cloud icon in the app bar, with a Web Order Received popup, and staff accept or cancel them there.
- Needs the Online ordering & QR add-on module.
- The same code works on every table; it opens the location's catalogue rather than a specific table.
- If no location is set up yet, add one in Edit Restaurant first.
- Storefront banners and online payments are set up in the web back office.
Frequently asked questions
Do customers need to download an app to order?
No. Scanning the code opens your catalogue in the phone's browser. Customers browse, add to a cart and place the order there.
Do I need a new QR code when my menu changes?
No. The code points to a fixed link for the location, and the page always shows your current products and prices. Reprint only if you want a new design.
Where do QR orders show up?
On the till under the cloud icon in the app bar. A Web Order Received popup rings with a bell, and the BOT / WEB ORDERS list keeps every order for the day.
