Steps
- Open Catalogue QR. In the back office sidebar, click Catalogue QR.
- Choose the location. Select Business Location. Each location has its own menu, with only the products sold there.
- Pick a colour. Choose the Qr code color to match your branding. Keep enough contrast for phones to scan it.
- Add title and subtitle. Enter a Title and Subtitle, for example Scan to order and Order from your table.
- Show your logo. Tick Show business logo on qrcode to put your logo in the middle of the code.
- Generate and download. Click Generate QR, check the preview, then click Download Image.
- Test it. Scan the printed code with your own phone before you put it out, and check it opens the right location's menu.
Where to use it
Put the code on every table if customers order from their seat; at checkout the customer can pick their table, which is then marked occupied. Takeaway counters, flyers and delivery bags work too.
Make banners for the top of the menu on the same screen.
Good to know
You can also make and share the QR code from the SeroPOS app, in Admin › Tools › Catalogue QR. Online ordering and QR is an add-on module. The Catalogue QR item shows in the back office sidebar when your subscription includes it.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a different QR code for each location?
Yes. Each code opens one location's menu, with the products and prices sold there. Select each location in turn and generate its code.
Will the QR code change if I update my menu?
No. The code points to your location's menu page, so changes to products and prices show up without reprinting.
Can I put my logo on the QR code?
Yes. Tick Show business logo on qrcode before you click Generate QR. The logo comes from your business settings.
