SeroPOS back office help: Online ordering

Online ordering gives you a QR menu code and a storefront where customers browse your catalogue and order. You can upload banners and choose card payment or pay on collection, and see the ordering steps from the customer's side.

Make your QR menu code in the back officeMake the QR code that opens your online menu at Catalogue QR (/product-catalogue/catalogue-qr) in the back office. Select the business location, pick the QR code colour, enter a title and subtitle, choose whether to show your logo on the code, and click Generate QR. Then click Download Image to save it for table cards, posters, takeaway bags or your window.Add banners to your online storefrontAdd banner images to the top of your online menu from the Catalogue QR screen in the back office. There are four banner slots, First Banner Images through Fourth Banner Images. The first is the hero image customers see at the top of the menu when they scan your QR code. Choose the images, click Submit, and the storefront shows them right away.Choose how customers pay for online ordersCustomers who order from your online menu can pay by card online through your own Stripe account, or choose to pay on collection. You pick the methods each location offers in Settings › Business Locations: edit the location and tick the payment methods in the Catalogue column. Card payments online need your Stripe keys in Business Settings on the Stripe tab. Methods such as cash record the order with nothing charged, and the customer pays when they collect.See how customers order from your QR menuWhen a customer scans your QR code, your location's menu opens on their phone with your banner, a search bar and category chips. They tap a product to choose variations, modifiers and quantity, and add it to the cart. At checkout they pick the type of service, such as dine-in or takeaway, and their table if dining in, enter their details or sign in, choose how to pay, and place the order. It lands in your POS for staff to accept.
