Steps
- Open Catalogue QR. In the back office sidebar, click Catalogue QR and scroll to the banner uploader.
- Choose the hero image. Under First Banner Images, choose the image customers should see first: your best dish, your shopfront or this week's offer.
- Add more banners. Use the Second, Third and Fourth Banner Images slots for more pictures.
- Submit. Click Submit. Thumbnails of the current images appear under each slot.
- Check on a phone. Scan your QR code and check how the hero image looks on a small screen.
Image tips
Use wide, landscape images, since the hero spans the top of a phone screen. Keep text out of the image, or large and short, because small text becomes unreadable on a phone. Bright, well-lit food photos work better than graphics. Swap the hero for seasonal menus and promotions.
Good to know
Without a banner, the menu shows a default image. Online ordering and QR is an add-on module. The Catalogue QR item shows in the back office sidebar when your subscription includes it.
