Steps
- Open Contacts Login. In the back office sidebar, click CRM, then Contacts Login.
- Add a login. Click Add Login and choose the customer or supplier.
- Create the contact person. Enter the person's first and last name, email and username, then a password and confirm it. Use Add Contact Persons to give one business several logins.
- Save and share the details. Save, then give the contact the sign-in address and their username. Ask them to change the password after first sign-in.
- Review all logins. Use All Contacts Login to see every portal login across your contacts, and edit or remove them.
What contacts see in the portal
The portal has its own dashboard and profile page, where the contact can change their password. Customers see their sales and their ledger, so they can check what they owe without calling you. Suppliers see their purchases and ledger.
Customers can also create and view table bookings by location, which then show in your restaurant bookings.
Good to know
Remove a login when someone leaves the customer's business. CRM is part of the Pro plan. The CRM item shows in the back office sidebar when your subscription includes it and your role has the CRM permissions.
Frequently asked questions
Can customers see other customers' data?
No. A portal login only shows the records of the contact it belongs to: their own sales or purchases and their own ledger.
Can customers book a table through the portal?
Yes. Signed-in customers can create and list table bookings by location. They appear alongside the bookings your staff add in the back office.
Can one company have more than one login?
Yes. Add several contact persons to the same customer or supplier, each with their own username and password.
