Send email or SMS campaigns to leads or customers at CRM › Campaigns (/crm/campaigns). Click Create Campaign, name it, pick the Campaign Type, then choose who receives it: chosen leads or customers, or customers by transaction activity, such as everyone with no transactions in 30 days. Write the subject and email body, or the SMS body, then save it as a Draft or send it straight away.

Before your first campaign

Email campaigns use your business email settings and SMS campaigns use your SMS settings, so configure those in Business Settings first. Only contacts with an email address or mobile number can receive each type.

Only message people who have agreed to hear from you, and include a way to opt out.

Good to know

Users with access own campaigns see only campaigns they created. CRM is part of the Pro plan. The CRM item shows in the back office sidebar when your subscription includes it and your role has the CRM permissions.

Frequently asked questions

How do I send a win-back message to lapsed customers?

Create a campaign, choose customers, and set Transaction activity to Has no transactions in, say, 30 or 60 days. Write a short offer in the email or SMS body and send it.

Can I schedule a campaign for later?

There is no send-later timer. Click Draft to save the campaign, then open it on the day and send it. Or click Send Notification when you create it to send it straight away.

Why didn't some customers receive the SMS?

Only contacts with a mobile number can get SMS, and your SMS settings must be configured. Check the customer records and the SMS settings in Business Settings.
