Steps
- Open the Business Settings page. In the back office sidebar, open Settings and click Setting. This is the Business Settings page at /business/settings, with its tabs down the left and a search box at the top.
- Click the Modules tab. Modules is the fifteenth tab in the list on the left.
- Choose the selling and stock modules. Tick Purchases, Add Sale, POS, Stock Transfers, Stock Adjustment, Expenses and Account as needed.
- Choose the restaurant modules. Tick Tables, Modifiers, Service staff, Kitchen (For restaurants) and Types of service for a restaurant, café or bar.
- Choose bookings and subscriptions. Tick Enable Bookings for table or appointment bookings, and Enable Subscription for recurring invoices.
- Click Update Settings. Click Update Settings at the bottom of the page. Every tab on this page saves together, so finish any other tab you changed before you click.
- Reload the back office. Refresh the page. The sidebar now shows menus such as Tables, Bookings, Kitchen and Orders only for the modules you ticked.
Modules on this tab versus add-on modules
This tab turns built-in features on and off. It is free to change and doesn't affect your plan. Add-on modules such as Online ordering & QR, Repair, Hotel and Accounting are part of your subscription and are managed from your account, not from this tab.
Unticking a module hides its menus; it doesn't delete records. Tick it again and your tables, bookings or expenses are still there.
Suggested set-ups
A retail shop usually wants Purchases, POS, Stock Transfers, Stock Adjustment and Expenses. A restaurant adds Tables, Modifiers, Service staff, Kitchen and Types of service, plus Enable Bookings if it takes reservations.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I see Tables or Kitchen in the sidebar?
Those menus only show when the module is ticked on the Modules tab. Open Settings › Setting, click Modules, tick Tables or Kitchen (For restaurants) and click Update Settings. Your role also needs permission to see them.
Does turning off a module delete data?
No. Unticking a module only hides its screens and menus. Existing records, such as tables, bookings or expenses, stay in your account and reappear when you tick the module again.
