Where custom fields show
Each labelled field appears on its form, such as the add contact or add product screen, and can be printed on invoices by ticking it in the invoice layout. Location custom fields can also be used as tags in notification templates.
Custom payment methods work like the built-in ones once labelled. Turn them on per location under Settings › Business Locations, in Payment Options.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add a payment method like e-transfer?
Open Settings › Setting, click Custom Labels and type E-transfer in one of the Custom Payment boxes. Click Update Settings, then edit each business location and enable it under Payment Options for POS. It then appears as a payment method at checkout.
Why doesn't my custom field show on the form?
A custom field only appears once it has a label. Check the label is filled in on the right section of the Custom Labels tab, for example product rather than contact, and that you clicked Update Settings. Reload the form to see it.
