Steps
- Tap Adjust. Ring the order and tap Adjust in the cart's total row. Turn on Show Adjust Button in QSR Settings if it's missing.
- Set a discount. Choose Fixed or Percentage and type the discount. A percentage is capped at 100%.
- Add a tip. Type the amount in Tip.
- Redeem points. With a customer attached, enter the points to use under Loyalty.
- Check the totals. Order Total, Loyalty Redeem and Final Total update as you type.
- Apply. Tap Apply, then take payment.
How the adjustments are worked out
The discount comes off the goods and their tax, not off the tip. Loyalty points follow the limits in Admin › Settings › Reward Points. If no customer with points is attached, SeroPOS shows Select a customer with reward points to redeem loyalty.
Who can give a discount is set per role, and a manager can approve one with their password.
Frequently asked questions
Can I discount a single item in QSR Mode?
Yes. Tap the item in the cart to open Edit Item, and set Disc. Amt and Disc. Type for that line. Adjust is for a discount on the whole order.
How do I undo an adjustment?
Open Adjust again, set the discount, tip and points back to 0 and tap Apply. Clear in the cart also wipes the adjustments, along with the items.
