Home: pick the customer and the service mode, or use Resume Order, View Tables, Open Drawer, Cash Pay Out and Clear Screen.

Steps

  1. Go to the screen. Open Home, the POS screen or QSR Mode, whichever you want explained.
  2. Tap the ? button. Tap ? (Guided tour) in the app bar. In QSR Mode the ? sits at the top of the cart.
  3. Follow the highlights. Each step highlights one area with a short note. On Home it covers Find or add customers, Start an order and Quick actions.
  4. Step through. Tap Next to move on, or SKIP to close the tour early.
  5. Finish. Tap Done on the last step.

What each tour covers

The tours are short, so they're a good way to show a new staff member around before their first shift.

  • Home: customer search, the Service Mode buttons and Quick Actions
  • QSR Mode: categories, styling product buttons, the cart, the action buttons, product search and previous invoices
  • POS screen: the product grid, the cart and its buttons

Help beyond the tour

For more detail, the Help panel on documented screens explains every field and button, can be translated and can print to the receipt printer (back office in 16 languages; in-app help in 11; app screens in English). The full Knowledgebase is in the drawer.

Frequently asked questions

The tour doesn't play when I open Home.

The Home tour plays only once per install. After that it stays quiet so it doesn't get in the way during service. Tap the ? button on the Home screen to play it again whenever you like.

Can I replay the QSR tour?

Yes. In QSR Mode, tap the ? button at the top of the cart. The QSR tour only plays when you ask for it, and takes you through six areas of the quick-service screen.
