Steps
- Open Edit Restaurant. Open the drawer, tap Admin, and under Settings tap Edit Restaurant (Name, address, phone shown on receipts).
- Enter the names. Fill in the Business name and the Restaurant / location name. Both are required; the location name is the large first line of the receipt.
- Enter the address and contacts. Add the Street address, City, State, Country and ZIP code, then Phone (printed as Tel:), Email and Website.
- Add your tax number. Enter a Tax label such as GST No and your Tax number. Leave both blank if you don't want a tax line on the receipt.
- Set the timezone. Under Location & reporting tap Timezone and pick yours. It sets the cut-off for daily totals. If the list is empty, run Sync Database first.
- Set up the report email. In Emails to send report enter one or more addresses separated by commas, and pick the Time to send report.
- Add a logo and save. Tap Select logo (optional) for a JPG or PNG, check the Receipt Header Preview, then tap Save Restaurant Details.
Tips
Use the live preview to catch typos before they print on every receipt. Keep the logo small and high-contrast so it prints clearly on thermal paper. The receipt heading, sub-headings and footer are set separately in Receipt Layout.
- Edits are saved to the server straight away; other tills show them after their next sync.
- The timezone also decides which day late sales fall on in the DSR.
- Staff need Edit Restaurant in Admin Sections to change these details.
