SeroPOS app help: after the sale

After a sale you can find it in Recent Transaction, reprint or share the invoice, edit it, void or refund it, and resend any sale that did not reach the server. This is also where you open and close the register with a cash count, print the Daily Sales Report and close the card batch.

Find a sale in Recent TransactionsRecent Transactions lists your completed sales so you can find one and act on it. Open Drawer › Recent Transaction, search by invoice number or customer, filter by status (Paid, Due, Partial or Refunded), payment mode and date range, then tap SEARCH. The totals cards show Total Orders and Total Sales for what is listed, and Print this list prints them as SALES TRANSACTIONS on your receipt printer. From any sale you can reprint, share, edit, void or refund it.Reprint or share an invoiceTo give a customer another copy of a receipt, open Drawer › Recent Transaction, find the sale and tap Print Invoice. The app asks Do you want to reprint this order invoice? and prints it on the default printer once you confirm. To send a copy instead, tap Share Invoice and pick an app from your device's share options, such as email or messages. In QSR Mode you can also reprint from the cart with Print last invoice or the Previous invoices arrow.Edit a completed saleTo fix a mistake on a finished sale, open Drawer › Recent Transaction, find the sale and tap Edit Sale. The app confirms Order is moved to cart and loads the sale back into the cart, where you can change items, quantities or payment, then complete it again. Only users whose role includes Edit Completed Sale can do this; anyone else gets Approval Required and needs someone with that access to approve it.Void or refund a saleTo cancel or give back money on a whole sale, open Drawer › Recent Transaction and find it. For about 45 minutes after the sale the action is Void Sale; after that it is Refund Sale. The app asks Void which payment? or Refund which payment? and returns only the payment you pick. Card voids and refunds run on your connected card terminal; cash is handed back from the drawer. The sale then shows as Refunded.Resend an unsynced saleSales rung while the till is offline are saved on the till and sent to the server automatically when it reconnects. If some still haven't arrived, Recent Transactions shows a banner such as 2 sales not sent to the server, with the total, and the reminder that they are not missing and must not be rung again. Tap Resend to server to send them now. Once they reach the server they appear in your reports and the web back office.Open and close the registerOpen the register at the start of a shift with the cash float you put in the drawer, and close it at the end with the cash you counted. Both are done in Drawer › Open/Close Register: type the Amount, add a closing note if you need one, and tap OPEN or CLOSE. This creates the cash session that your end-of-day figures are checked against. Closing doesn't print anything, so print the DSR for the day afterwards.Print the daily sales report (Z report)The Daily Sales Report (DSR) is your end-of-day or Z report. Open Drawer › DSR(Daily Sale Report), pick a period such as Today, and the app shows bills, gross and net sales, tax, tips, discounts, payouts and payments by method, plus item and category breakdowns. Tap PRINT to print DAILY SALES REPORT / Z REPORT on your default printer and keep it with the takings. The DSR needs internet.Close the card batchClosing the batch settles the day's card payments with Global Payments. On the till, open Drawer › Settings and tap Close Batch next to Global Payments, or tap the card icon in the app bar and choose Close Batch & Print Day-End Report. After you confirm, the terminal settles its batch and the day-end summary and detail report prints on your default POS printer. Print Batch Summary prints the totals without closing.
