Read the WooCommerce sync log in SeroPOS

WooCommerce › Sync Log (/woocommerce/view-sync-log) lists every sync between SeroPOS and WooCommerce. Each row shows the date, the sync type (categories, all products, new products or orders), the operation, who ran it and the records it created or updated. Open an entry's details to see exactly what happened, including orders that were skipped and why.

Steps

  1. Open the log. In the back office sidebar, click WooCommerce, then Sync Log.
  2. Filter by type. Filter the list to categories, products or orders to find the sync you want.
  3. Read a row. Each row shows the Date, Sync Type, Operation (created or updated), Synced By and the Records involved.
  4. Open the details. Open an entry's details to see each record it touched.
  5. Fix and re-sync. If an order was skipped, for example because a product wasn't found, fix the cause in SeroPOS and run the sync again.

Common messages

ERROR:SKIPPED with product not found means a product in the order doesn't exist in SeroPOS: add it or sync products. Customer is empty means the order had no customer details. A quantity mismatch message names the order to check.

Good to know

Automatic syncs appear in the log too, so check it after the scheduled runs. WooCommerce is part of the Pro plan. The WooCommerce item shows in the back office sidebar when your subscription includes it, and each sync action has its own permission.
