Steps
- Turn on tables. The report appears when Tables is on in Business Settings > Modules and your tables are set up under Tables.
- Open the report. In the sidebar, open Reports and click Table Report.
- Pick the location. Choose a Business Location. Tables belong to a location.
- Set the dates. Click Date Range and pick a preset (Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, This Month, Last Month, This month last year, This Year, Last Year, Current financial year, Last financial year) or Custom Range.
- Read the totals. Each row shows the Table and its Total Sale for the period. Sort by Total Sale to see your busiest tables.
- Export. Use the buttons above the table: CSV or Excel downloads the rows you can see, Print opens a print view, Columns hides or shows columns, and PDF saves the table (offered in most back-office languages).
Getting good table data
Only sales with a table chosen are counted, which is how dine-in orders work in the SeroPOS app. Takeaway and delivery orders have no table and don't appear. Compare the same weekdays across months to see which sections earn the most and plan server sections around them.
Export and print
Every table on this report has the same toolbar: CSV, Excel, Print, Columns and, in most back-office languages, PDF. The exports take the columns that are visible, so hide anything you don't need with Columns first. The totals row at the bottom of the table is included in the export.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the Table Report missing from my menu?
The Tables module is off, or this business is not set up as a restaurant POS. Turn on Tables in Business Settings > Modules. The report also needs tables set up and sales recorded against them.
Can I see covers or time at the table?
No. The Table Report shows total sales per table only. For orders per server, use the Service Staff Report.
