Steps
- Open the report. In the sidebar, open Reports and click Sales Representative Report. You need the sales representative report permission.
- Choose a person. Pick the User, or leave All Users.
- Set location and dates. Choose a Business Location and a Date Range.
- Read the Summary. Total Sale and Total Sales Return for sales they added, Total Sale Commission when they are a commission agent, and Total Expense for expenses recorded for them.
- Check the tabs. Sales Added lists invoices they created; Sales With Commission lists invoices where they are the commission agent; Expenses lists expenses with Expense for set to them. Sales tabs show payment status, total paid and remaining, sell due and sell return due.
- Export. Use the buttons above the table: CSV or Excel downloads the rows you can see, Print opens a print view, Columns hides or shows columns, and PDF saves the table (offered in most back-office languages).
Commission agents
Commission is worked out for users set up as sales commission agents, with a commission % on their user record. Pick the agent on each invoice in Create Invoice. Expenses such as travel can be linked to the person using the Expense for field on the expense.
Export and print
Every table on this report has the same toolbar: CSV, Excel, Print, Columns and, in most back-office languages, PDF. The exports take the columns that are visible, so hide anything you don't need with Columns first. The totals row at the bottom of the table is included in the export.
Frequently asked questions
Why is commission zero for a user?
The user isn't set up as a commission agent, has no commission % set, or wasn't chosen as the commission agent on the invoices. Check User Management > Sales Commission Agents and the commission agent field on each sale.
Does it show sales from the SeroPOS app?
Sales Added counts invoices the user created, which includes their till sales when they sign in to the app with their own user.
