Steps
- Turn on service staff. The report appears when Service Staff is on in Business Settings > Modules.
- Open the report. In the sidebar, open Reports and click Service Staff Report.
- Filter. Pick a Business Location and a Service staff member, or All.
- Set the dates. Click Date Range and pick a preset (Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, This Month, Last Month, This month last year, This Year, Last Year, Current financial year, Last financial year) or Custom Range.
- Read the Orders tab. Date, Invoice No., Service staff, Location, Subtotal, Total Discount, Total Tax and Total amount, with a total row.
- Read the Line Orders tab. Date, Invoice No., Service staff, Product, Quantity, Unit Price, Discount, Tax and Net Price for each item.
- Export. Use the buttons above the table: CSV or Excel downloads the rows you can see, Print opens a print view, Columns hides or shows columns, and PDF saves the table (offered in most back-office languages).
Where the server comes from
A sale is counted for the service staff member chosen on the order, either on the whole order or on a line. In the SeroPOS app that is the waiter picked for the order. Users need a role marked as service staff to be picked.
Use the Orders tab for sales per server and the Line Orders tab to see who sells your specials or add-ons.
Export and print
Every table on this report has the same toolbar: CSV, Excel, Print, Columns and, in most back-office languages, PDF. The exports take the columns that are visible, so hide anything you don't need with Columns first. The totals row at the bottom of the table is included in the export.
Frequently asked questions
Why does a server show no orders?
The orders weren't assigned to them. Make sure their role is a service staff role and that the waiter is chosen on each order at the till. Orders with no server picked don't appear for anyone.
Does this report include tips?
No. It shows orders and line items. Tips by type of service are on the Daily Sales Report.
