Steps
- Open Repair. In the back office sidebar, click Repair. The dashboard opens first.
- Check job sheets by status. The Job sheets by status chart shows how many jobs sit in each status, such as received, in progress or ready.
- Check workload per technician. Job sheets by service staff shows how many jobs each technician has, so you can spread new work evenly.
- See what's trending. Top Trending Devices, Device Models and Brands show which repairs you do most, useful when stocking parts.
- Go to the work. Use Job Sheets in the module's top bar to open the list and act on individual jobs.
Using the dashboard
Check the status chart at the start of each day. A growing pile in one status, such as waiting for parts, is the first sign of a bottleneck. The trending charts help you decide which screens, batteries or other parts to keep on the shelf.
If the dashboard says no data found, add your first repair or job sheet.
Good to know
Repair is an add-on module. The Repair item shows in the back office sidebar when your subscription includes it and your role has the repair or job sheet permissions.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my repair dashboard say no data found?
The charts are built from your job sheets and repairs. Add a job sheet in Repair › Add job sheet and the dashboard starts filling in.
Can technicians see the whole dashboard?
Technicians with permission to view only assigned job sheets work from their own list. Give managers the view all job sheets permission so they see the full picture.
Where do the trending brands come from?
From the brand, device and model recorded on each job sheet. The more consistently staff fill these in, the more useful the charts are.
