Resize the QSR pay buttons

Make the money buttons bigger for busy hands. In QSR Mode, long-press Cash, Debit or Credit to open Payment Button Size and pick Normal, Large or Extra Large. Long-press a button in the bottom row (Hold, Delivery, Adjust, Split or Print) for Bottom Button Size, and long-press the keypad's header for Quantity Keypad Size. There's no settings row for these; the long-press is the only way in.

Even the payment buttons: long-press Cash, Debit or Credit and pick Normal, Large or Extra Large for that till.

Steps

  1. Long-press a money button. In the QSR cart, press and hold Cash, Debit or Credit. Payment Button Size opens.
  2. Pick a size. Choose Normal (classic compact buttons), Large (1.5 times taller with bigger text, recommended) or Extra Large (double height).
  3. Resize the bottom row. Long-press Hold, Delivery, Adjust, Split or Print. In Bottom Button Size, choose Normal, Large or Extra Large.
  4. Resize the keypad. Open the quantity keypad and long-press its header bar. Pick a size in Quantity Keypad Size.
  5. Check the screen. The buttons change straight away. Long-press again to change your mind.

Choosing sizes

Payment buttons start at Large; the bottom row and the keypad start at Normal. On a small tablet, Extra Large money buttons can push the cart list down, so try Large first. Each of the three sizes is separate, so you can have big pay buttons and a normal bottom row.

Frequently asked questions

Is the button size the same on every till?

The size is remembered on the device where you set it, so a large wall-mounted screen and a small counter tablet can each have the size that suits them. Set it on each till.

I can't find button size in QSR Settings.

It isn't there. Button sizes are set only by long-pressing the buttons themselves: a money button for Payment Button Size, a bottom-row button for Bottom Button Size, and the keypad header for Quantity Keypad Size.
