Steps
- Select the products. Open Products › List Products, filter if needed, and tick the products to change.
- Open Bulk Edit. Click Bulk Edit under the table. The Bulk Edit Products page opens.
- Add more if needed. Use Search product to edit to add another product to the grid.
- Change product fields. Edit Product Name, Category, Sub category, Brand, Tax or Business Locations on each row.
- Change prices. In each product's variation rows, change the Default Purchase Price, x Margin(%), Default Selling Price or a Group Price.
- Save. Click Update. All the products are saved together.
- Sync the tills. Run Sync Database on each till so the new prices are used at the counter.
Changing locations only
To make products available in another store, or to take them out of one, you don't need the full grid. Tick the products and click Add to location or Remove from location, then pick the location.
Frequently asked questions
How do I raise prices on a whole category?
Filter List Products by that Category, tick all products, click Bulk Edit and change each Default Selling Price or the margin. For very large changes, edit the spreadsheet you imported and upload it again on Import Products with Update products that already exist ticked.
Does bulk edit change stock?
No. Bulk Edit changes details and prices only. Use opening stock, purchases or stock adjustments to change quantities.
