Steps
- Open Coupons. In the back office sidebar, click HMS, then Coupons.
- Add a coupon. Click Add coupon and enter the Coupon code, for example WINTER10.
- Choose room types. Select the room types the coupon applies to.
- Set the dates. Enter Date from and Date to for the period the offer covers.
- Set the discount. Pick the Discount type, fixed or percentage, and enter the Discount amount. Save.
- Use it on a booking. On a booking for a matching room and dates, type the code and click Apply Coupon. You'll see Applied successfully.

Quiet-season offers, a code for repeat guests, a code for a local event or partner business. Because each coupon is limited to room types and dates, you can discount the rooms and nights that are hard to fill without touching your busy weekends.
Good to know
Coupons are applied by staff on bookings in the back office. Hotel (room booking) is an add-on module. The HMS item shows in the back office sidebar when your subscription includes it and your role has the hotel permissions.
Frequently asked questions
Why won't a coupon apply?
Check the booking's room type and dates against the coupon. A coupon only applies to the room types and the date range it was created for.
Can a coupon be a percentage?
Yes. Choose percentage as the discount type for a % off, or fixed for a set amount off the booking.
Can I discount a booking without a coupon?
Yes. Every booking has a discount field where you can enter a fixed or percentage discount directly.
