Manage leads on the Kanban board in SeroPOS

Manage leads at CRM › Leads (/crm/leads). Add a lead with its contact details, source and life stage, then switch between List View and Kanban Board. The board has one column per life stage, and you drag a lead card from column to column as the deal moves forward. Filter by source or life stage, and see each lead's last and upcoming follow-up at a glance.

Steps

  1. Open Leads. In the back office sidebar, click CRM, then Leads in the top bar.
  2. Add a lead. Click Add and enter the person's or company's name, phone, email and any other contact details.
  3. Set source and life stage. Pick the Source (for example Walk-in or Referral) and the Life Stage the lead is at. Sources are used when adding leads.
  4. Switch to the Kanban Board. Click Kanban Board to see your leads as cards in one column per life stage.
  5. Move a lead forward. Drag a lead's card into the next column as they progress. The life stage on the lead updates.
  6. Filter the list. Use the Source and Life Stage filters to focus on one channel or stage.
  7. Open a lead. Click View Lead to see the lead's info, its follow-ups, and Documents & Note.

List view or board

List View is better for searching and for seeing Last follow up and Upcoming follow up side by side. The Kanban Board is better for a weekly pipeline review, where you can see at a glance how many leads sit at each stage.

Good to know

Set up your sources and life stages first, in CRM › Sources and CRM › Life Stage, so the board has the columns you want. CRM is part of the Pro plan. The CRM item shows in the back office sidebar when your subscription includes it and your role has the CRM permissions.

Frequently asked questions

How do I change the columns on the Kanban board?

The columns are your life stages. Add, rename or remove them in CRM › Life Stage and the board updates to match.

Can a lead have documents attached?

Yes. Open the lead with View Lead and use the Documents & Note tab to upload files and keep notes about the conversation.

What happens to a lead when they buy?

Use Convert to customer on the lead's page. They become a customer you can sell to at the POS, and their notes and follow-up history stay with them.
