Steps
- Tap Sign Up. On the Login screen, tap Sign Up next to Don't have an account?
- Tell us about yourself. Enter your First Name, Last Name (optional), Email Address, Country & Mobile Number, Password and Confirm Password, then tap Create Account.
- Set up your business profile. Enter your Business Name and start typing in Business Address. Pick a suggestion to fill in City, State / Province, Country and ZIP/Postal Code.
- Choose currency and timezone. Select your Currency and Timezone, and set your Financial Year Start and Accounting Method (FIFO, LIFO or Average Cost Method).
- Add your logo and accept the terms. Tap Tap to upload logo if you want your logo on receipts, tick I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then tap Create Account.
- Verify your account. Enter the 6-digit code sent to your email (and mobile) and tap Verify. Tap Resend code if it doesn't arrive.
- Wait for Setting Up Your Store. SeroPOS builds your business and first location. When it finishes, the Choose Your Plan screen opens.
What the business profile controls
Currency and timezone are used on every receipt and report, and the timezone decides where one business day ends for the Daily Sales Report. Set them correctly at sign-up. The address and logo appear in the receipt header, and you can change both later in Admin under Edit Restaurant.
The person who signs up becomes the owner, with every permission. Add staff later in Admin under Users & Roles, where each person gets their own login.
Frequently asked questions
I didn't get the 6-digit code. What now?
Check your spam or junk folder first, then tap Resend code on the Verify your account screen. The code goes to the email address you entered, and also to your mobile number if you gave one. If the email address was mistyped, tap Previous and correct it.
Can I change my currency or timezone later?
Business details such as the address, phone, tax number and logo can be edited in Admin under Edit Restaurant. Pick the right currency at sign-up, because changing it after sales have been recorded makes old and new figures hard to compare.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. Your account and its 14-day free trial exist as soon as sign-up finishes. On the plan screen you can tap Continue on my 14-day free trial to start selling without entering any payment details.
