Steps
- Open Types of Service. Open the drawer, tap Admin, and under Settings tap Types of Service (Dine-in, delivery, takeout).
- Add a service type. Tap + Add Service Type and type the Service name, for example Take Away.
- Add a charge if you need one. Enter the Packing / service charge, or 0 for none.
- Pick the charge type. Choose Fixed amount for a flat fee, such as $2 packing, or Percent of order for a fee that grows with the order.
- Save. Tap Save. The list shows each type with its charge, or No extra charge.
- Check the Home screen. Each type appears as a Service Mode card on Home. Dine-in opens the tables, Take Away goes to the POS, and Delivery needs a customer with an address.
How charges are used
The charge is added to orders started with that type. In QSR Mode, a fixed delivery charge set here is used as the starting Delivery charge when staff switch the Delivery toggle on. Percent charges suit service fees; fixed charges suit packing or flat delivery fees.
- Types of Service is hidden in Retail Mode, where Home shows a single New Sale button.
- Changes reach other tills after the next sync.
- The DSR splits sales by type under Orders by Type.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add a packing charge to takeout orders?
Edit the Take Away type in Admin › Types of Service, enter the Packing / service charge, choose Fixed amount and tap Save. Take Away orders then include the charge.

Yes. Edit any type's Service name, or tap + Add Service Type for a new one, such as Catering. Each type gets its own card on the Home screen.
