Steps
- Open the report. In the back office sidebar, click Manufacturing, then Manufacturing Report.
- Choose a location. Pick one business location, or leave it on all locations.
- Set the date range. Choose the period, such as this month or last week.
- Read the totals. Total Production shows how much you made; Total Production Cost shows what it cost.
- Check stock on hand. Current Stock (Manufacturing) shows the stock left from total manufactured, so you can plan the next batch.
Using the report
Compare total production cost with the sales of the same products for the period to see whether production is paying off. A high production figure with low remaining stock means you're selling through; high remaining stock means you can produce less next time.
Total production cost also flows into your profit and loss report.
Good to know
Only finalized production runs count in the report. Recipes and production are part of the Pro plan. The Manufacturing item shows in the back office sidebar when your subscription includes it and your role has the recipe or production permissions.
