Steps
- Open Accounting reports. In the back office sidebar, click Accounting, then Reports.
- Find the working paper pack. Scroll to the Working paper pack (Excel) card.
- Download the pack. Click Download for this year. SeroPOS builds the workbook from one read of the ledger for your current financial year.
- Check the cover sheet. Open the file and read the integrity checks on the cover sheet before you send it, so any imbalance is fixed first.
- Send it to your accountant. Attach the workbook to an email, or use a share link if you have one set up for your accountant.
Share links
A share link lets your accountant download the same pack without signing in. Each link covers a period, expires after a set number of days and can be revoked at any time. Because anyone holding the link can download the pack, send it only to your accountant directly and revoke it when the work is done.
Before you download
Map any unmapped payments in Accounting › Transactions and post your year-end adjustments first, so the pack reflects the final books. Accounting is an add-on module. The Accounting item shows in the back office sidebar only when your subscription includes it and your role has the Accounting permissions.

What's in the working paper pack?
One Excel workbook with the trial balance, general ledger with opening and closing balances, profit and loss, balance sheet and the journal, all from the same read of the ledger, plus integrity checks on the cover sheet.
Does my accountant need a SeroPOS login?
No. You can email the downloaded workbook, or send a share link that downloads the pack without signing in. Share links expire and can be revoked.
Which period does the pack cover?
The Download for this year button covers your current financial year, based on the financial year start set in your business settings.
