Standard or Pro
Standard ($30/mo) covers a single counter or restaurant with 1 location and 3 users: the full POS, kitchen tickets, tables and takeout, printing, standard reports and kiosk mode. Pro ($50/mo) is for businesses that need several tills on one database, a drawn floor plan, CRM, recipes and production, QuickBooks or WooCommerce, with 5 users.
When a screen needs Pro, it shows an Upgrade to Pro sheet rather than an error, so staff know why it is locked.
Before you downgrade
Pro-only features stop working on Standard. If you use Server / Client Mode, set each client till back to Standalone first, and note that the floor plan designer and Pro back-office tools will be locked. Check your user count too, as Standard includes 3 users.
Frequently asked questions
Do I lose data when I downgrade?
Your sales, products and customers stay in your account. Features that need Pro, such as Server / Client Mode and the floor plan designer, are locked until you upgrade again. Plan the change for a quiet time if you run several tills.
Can I upgrade during the free trial?
Yes. The trial already includes every feature, so you can pick Pro when you choose a plan and keep everything you set up during the trial.
Do I need Pro for more than one till?
To share one database across several tills with Server / Client Mode, yes. Each till also needs a user login, and you can add 3 more users for $10/mo on either plan.
