Add a purchaseRecord a supplier delivery at Purchases › Add Purchase (/purchases/create). Pick the Supplier, Purchase Date, Purchase Status and Business Location, then add each product with its quantity and Unit Cost (Before Discount), Discount Percent and tax. Lines show net cost, Line Total, Profit Margin % and Unit Selling Price, which can update the product's prices. Add any order discount, tax and Additional Shipping charges, record the payment and click Save. A purchase marked Received puts the stock into that location.Pay a supplierRecord what you pay suppliers so their balances stay right. To pay one bill, open Purchases › List Purchases, click Actions on the purchase and choose Add payment. To pay everything you owe a supplier at once, open Contacts › Suppliers and choose Actions › Pay. Enter the Amount, Paid on date, Payment Method and Payment Account, add a note and click Save. List Purchases then shows the Payment Status as Paid, Partial or Due.Return goods to a supplierSend goods back to a supplier with a purchase return, which takes the quantity out of stock and lowers what you owe. Return against the original bill from Purchases › List Purchases › Actions › Purchase Return, where each line shows what's still returnable. Or, for goods without one parent bill, open Purchases › List Purchase Return and click Add to make a combined return with supplier, location, lot, expiry and tax.Buy in another currencyIf you buy from suppliers in another currency, tick Purchases in other currency in Settings › Setting › Purchases. Choose the Purchase Currency and a Currency Exchange Rate, meaning how much 1 unit of the purchase currency is in your business currency. Each purchase then has a Currency Exchange Rate field: enter the rate for that bill, type the supplier's prices in their currency, and SeroPOS records the costs in your own currency.
